OCP AFRICA works to develop sustainable agriculture through local research,
training and partnerships across the African continent.

Through our locally-based educational initiatives, we are committed to providing smallholder farmers with the resources needed to increase productivity and crop quality; access technical, commercial and agronomic support; secure fair market prices and increased access to products during scarcity seasons; and build strong distribution networks by increasing the involvement of new players, such as wholesalers and retailers, in the fertilizer business.

For farmers

To ensure farmers have the resources needed to optimize their land’s potential, OCP AFRICA offers farmers a wide range of agricultural services, including interactive training sessions on best agricultural practices and soil-testing.

Scientific research

OCP AFRICA's agronomic expertise and deep understanding of Africa’s soils are grounded in a longstanding tradition of scientific research.

Infrastructure development

We have furthered this growth in African countries in several meaningful ways, including through the creation of blending facilities, fertilizer storage initiatives and the development of fertilizer supply partnerships.

Business training

In addition to providing crop and soil education, OCP AFRICA is committed to assisting farmers identify financing solutions and develop the business skills needed in today’s marketplace.
