Addis Abeba - April 6^th, 2019 

OCP Ethiopia Fertilizers Manufacturing PLC signed an agreement with the Ministry of Agriculture, consisting in the purchase of the 5 national blending facilities as well as the supply contract of blended fertilizers for those facilities.

This agreement marks a new milestone in the strengthening of strategic relations between the Federal Republic of Ethiopia and OCP.

The signing ceremony was marked by a massive institutional presence: His Excellency Dr. Kaba Urgesa Minister of Natural Resources and Food Security, His Excellency Dr. Sani Redi Minister of State for the Agricultural Development Sector, His Excellency Mrs. Ayinalem Nigussie Minister of State for the Agricultural Input Marketing Sector and Her Excellency Almaz Messele, Chair Member of the Standing Committee of the Parliament for the Protection of Agriculture, Pastoral Care and the Environment.

Other Ethiopian partners also attended the ceremony: the National Soil Analysis Center, the Agricultural Transformation Agency (ATA), the Regional Agricultural Office, the Farmers Cooperative Agency and the Farmer Cooperative Union.
