The Rwanda Fertilizer Company (RFC) is committed to transforming agriculture in Rwanda by providing high-quality customized fertilizer solutions, contributing to the region's food security, and accelerating the transition to nature-positive agriculture.

Who We Are

RFC is a joint venture between OCP Africa and the Rwandan Government through Agaciro Development Fund and Agro-Processing Trust Corporation (APTC) with a combined investment totaling USD 19,209,615, detailed as follows:

• OCP Africa: 57.4%
• Rwanda’s Agaciro Development Fund: 32.6%
• Rwanda’s APTC: 10%

RFC owns a state-of-the-art fertilizer blending factory in the Bugesera Special Economic Zone, boasting an annual capacity of 100,000 tons with a storage capacity of 25,000 tons. The factory was inaugurated on December 20, 2023.

RFC employs a total of 31 staff members, including both permanent and contractual staff, and operates 5 distribution centers (warehouses) across the country, located in Bugesera, Kigali, Kayonza, Gatsibo, and Musanze.
